News & Events
Villaggio residents are engaged, active members of the San Luis Obispo community, many of whom have lived here for decades. These are people who raised families, enjoyed careers and helped shape the community into a place they want to live for the rest of their lives. Villaggio seizes that passion and embraces it both on site and in community activities.
On the Property
Villaggio is committed to fitting the bill for every resident: those who want to be active and engaged in everything from book clubs and arts lectures to hands on woodworking and nearby nature exploring, to others who are ready for an easier pace. There is no right or wrong way at Villaggio, only ample choices to fit every taste.
In the Community
Villaggio residents’ joie de vivre shows itself in the community, with active attendance at SLO Rep and the Performing Arts Center, spirited volunteerism for groups including the Food Bank and Land Conservancy, and programs like the local Rotary Club’s “Read a Book” day in which volunteers fan out to local schools to enchant young students with a book read aloud.
If you’d like a deeper sense of the San Luis Obispo community, we recommend the SLO Chamber of Commerce very informative website. And if one-on-one conversation fits the bill, we can easily arrange that, too.
